arcadianmaggieI have to admit that I'm not crazy about a lot of femmeslash in the fandom and it's no secret that I far prefer M/M stories. That said, I've pulled together a list of my favorites for people looking for some recs. This isn't, of course, a comprehensive list or even all of the F/F stories I've enjoyed. It's more a starter list of stories I think most people would like if they gave them a try. I loved them all for one reason or another. Enjoy!
Title: Arcana by solareclipses

Pairing: Sulpicia/Didyme

Summary: Pre-Twilight Volturi, canon AU. 2nd place femslash judges vote, In the Closet Contest. Together for centuries, Sulpicia longs for a deeper relationship with Didyme, the woman who also happens to be her mate's sibling...
Notes: Gorgeous story of the relationship between Sulpicia and Didyme, Aro and Marcus’ spouses. This one really stood out for me during the anonymous In the Closet contest.

Pairing: Bella/Rosalie
Word Count: 11,415 - 7 chapters
Summary: Attrition Warfare: a strategic concept which states that to win a war, one's enemy must be gradually worn down to the point of collapse. The race for Senior Class President brings Bella and Rosalie's own war to a head. AH/AU B/R femmeslash.
Notes: Bella Swan channels Tracy Flick. Witty, sharp and absolutely hilarious. You can thank me later.

Notes: Rosalie’s voice is outstanding as these two spirited women come together. Humorous, hot and AU. What more could you want?

Summary:
Notes: Another great story that caught my attention during the anonymous In the Closet contest. Bittersweet with a real maturity to the story line that sets it apart.

Pairing: Bella/Alice & Edward/Jasper
Word Count: 105,636 - 21 chapters (WIP)
Summary:
Notes: One of the fist femmeslash fics I read in the fandom, and I’m happy to say that after a long hiatus, it’s updating again! The Edward/Jasper story line is just as strong as the Bella/Alice one.

Notes: Collaboration between fngrcufs and lightstardusting. A poignant tale of best friends, first love, and navigating those confusing teenage years. This is how it’s done, peeps. As we like to say in the TSN fandom, I had ALL THE FEELINGS.
Title: The Shape of Things to Come by bookjunkie1975
Rating: M, Hurt/Comfort/Romance
Pairing: Esme/Carmen
Word Count: 2,203
Summary:
Notes: I’m not crazy about fics in 2nd person (I can only think of one other story where it worked for me—a Harry/Draco flash fic), but it’s used to great effect here, beautifully pulling you into Esme’s head. Short, but powerful.

Rating: M, Drama/Romance
Pairing: Rosalie/Bella
Word Count: 2,315
Summary: After Rosalie tells Bella about her history in Eclipse, Bella comes back with questions for Rosalie. Canon AU. Entry for the In The Closet Contest.
Notes: I loved this story because of its edge. It’s no hearts and flowers romance; Rosalie seems to regard Bella’s gung-ho desire to be changed in much the same way I did: stupid, foolish girl
Title: Unlikely Solace by sweetandsaltyff
Rating: M, Hurt/Comfort
Pairing: Leah/Rosalie

Summary: Agonized by events beyond their control, two sworn enemies find an unexpected camaraderie in their surprisingly parallel situations.Whether rage, physical exertion, or desire, the need to express and release provides solace in the most unlikely of places
Notes: One of those “could be canon” stories. While they may seem like opposites on the outside, this story does a fabulous job of showing the similarities between these two women are as they share their anger, pain and ultimately comfort.

Rating: M, Angst/Friendship
Pairing: Rosalie/Bella
Word Count: 7651
Summary: :VAMPSLASH CONTEST:I put my hands against the spots, understanding they were what kept Rosalie alive. They might as well have spelled out 'The End' because that was how I felt-not just a chapter was ending, but my story was done.It began & ended with her.
Notes: By one of my very favorite TwiFic authors. Seeing flawed Rosalie through Bella’s eyes will have you falling in love with her too. Beautifully written with a sensuous, dreamy quality to it. Winner of Best femmeslash in the Vampslash Contest.
